The basic that’s hiding in your wardrobe..

There is a color, beyond black, grey and white. A color that goes with just about anything in your wardrobe. A color that you haven’t noticed all this while..

And, it is none other than Blue!

I kid you not, this color will match most anything that you currently own. So go on, mix it, match it and contrast it to create new outfits from clothes that you already own.

Bring Vintage Back

They were hot back then and they’re back with a zing: high-waisted shorts. They can give you an elongated silhouette and take your shorts from frumpy to stylish.

Here is how I would style mine (vintage umbrella not included!)

Featuring: The ‘Little White Dress’

Move over Little Back Dress, it’s summer and what we really really want is a ‘Little White Dress’.

The next time you’re hitting up the dance floor, or just stepping out for dinner, put away that LBD. It’s been done and done again and sizzle in a LWD instead!

Here’s a few to get you inspired —

Endless Summer

I wish that the summer would last forever, that we could go hiking, tubing all year long and I really don’t think I would get sick of it. Grilling outdoors, running and biking outside near the river, picnics, and did I mention outdoor movies, free concerts, fireworks and alfresco dining.  There is really not much to complain about.

This bikini is perfect for the summer and I could happily live in this maxi dress all summer long.

How to wear: Bold stripes

I did a post on Bold Stripes a while ago when it was just becoming a trend. Since then I’ve seen it worn a lot and in many shapes and forms, from skirts to jackets, cardigans, dresses and of course as leggings or pants. I was quite surprised to see so much of this trend around Rome.

If you still haven’t got your stripes on, here are 2 ways to wear bold stripes leggings/pants. The monochrome makes the outfit classic and easier to try the trend, switch it to a bright color top and the outfit becomes a little bit more audacious.

Summer picnic

I absolutely love summer, and in the summer I love a good picnic — be it with a couple of friends or just the two of us relaxing.

Laying out a rug on the grass, sipping cool lemonade and kicking back with a book is just the perfect way to spend a nice summer day.

Try this for a relaxed yet chic look —

Cool & Crisp White Blazer

Sport a white blazer this summer, it’s cool and adds polish to any outfit. It’s a versatile wardrobe staple that can be paired to create several outfits.

Both the outfits here add up to less than $100!!! That is excluding the accessories which can be amped up or down as per your style.
